PALM BEACH HOUSE
Problem:
The key to the project was the integration of landscape and interiors on a near oceanfront site creating a clear relationship with the front garden and backyard pool. The landscape was used in an architectural form to improve the privacy of the public areas from adjacent neighbors on a tight lot. We wanted to take advantage of the great weather and the use of the public and private spaces as indoor/outdoor spaces.
Solution:
The black-framed window walls, in tandem with a white plaster series of spaces, and the graphic employment of black-and-white architecture, art, furnishings, and awnings enable the landscapes to become animated in “Living Color.”
